Rena Christine Hardee

July 21, 1971 - September 06, 2021

Our beloved and sweet Rena Christine Hardee was born on July 21st, 1971 to Clifton and Diana Hardee. She passed away Monday, September 6th, 2021 at the 1700 hour to be with her Heavenly Father and be reunited with her brother, Ron (can you imagine the celebration). - She suffered 7 years due to her long battle with breast cancer and then 7 months with leukemia. She never let the diagnosis’ let her down. Though there were many rough days she always stayed positive and took it as an opportunity to grow closer to God. She always said, “everything happens for a reason”. She is now at peace, praise God! - As a child, she attended Cooper grade school, Shaw junior high, then on to Rogers High School, graduating in 1990. From there she attended Spokane Community College where she got her degree as an esthetician. She was a co-owner of The Nail Goddess where she worked with her mother for 23 years. She also worked at Audio Control with her brother Ron part-time. She had to retire from both when she became ill. - She loved her animals, all God’s little creatures. We called her “our little Dr. Dolittle”. She would feed anything that came into the yard: squirrels, raccoons, yes even skunks. She loved her 3 kitties and little dog, Fawn. - She would get up at 5:30 am to go sit in the gazebo and read her daily devotions, building a stronger relationship with her Lord. She loved sitting out there just listening to music and enjoying the garden and fountain. - Her therapy was taking care of the garden and backyard (she had it looking like a park). - She was a great gift from God as a daughter, sister, and an awesome mom and grammie. She loved picking strawberries with her sweet granddaughter, Kambree, she also loved sitting in the gazebo talking with her daughter Jade and anyone else that would come over to visit. Her Friday “sister nights” with Cyndi will always be cherished memories. - She is preceded in death by her brother Ron. She left behind her parents Clif and Diana Hardee; sister Cyndi Hopkins/ Jim; sister-in-law Staci Hardee; daughter Jade Hardee/ Sean; niece Brooke Crone/ Max; granddaughter Kambree and grandson Kota; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful friends. She will be missed by many. - Her rosary will be held Thursday, September 30th at 6:00 pm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 5025 N. Nelson. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:00 am at St. Patrick’s. A reception will follow at Eagles 12:00-6:00 pm 6410 N. Lidgerwood. - In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Breast Cancer Foundation in her name. God bless.
