Rachelle Barber

February 23, 1980 - April 18, 2022

Rachelle graced this world on February 23, 1980 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Washington. She left us way too soon on the evening of April 18, 2022. She grew up on a dead-end in Medical Lake, WA with her older sister Michelle Hooper and younger sister JennyLynn Barber, who were her best friends. She was raised to be a helpful, caring, genuine woman by her parents who she idolized, Jon and Jill Barber. She graduated from Medical Lake High School and continued on to be an amazing, natural born caregiver for the remainder of her days. She worked at Eastern State hospital for 15 years. There she made many friends who would continue on to love her for years to come. She left there and cared for a few others until she finally was settled at DRIVE Services, working as a manager alongside her sister Jenny. There, she again made such an impact on everyone she worked with and she was able to care for her individuals, who she loved very much. Her heart revolved around her nephew Hunter Hooper who she couldn't love or brag about enough. Rachelle had many, many fur babies in her life and she went to the ends of the world to make sure they were always taken care of and had the most comfortable and relaxing lives possible. Anyone that knew Rachelle knows that she had a heart of gold, constantly thinking of everyone else and never herself. She was the one that always knew what to say or what to do in any situation and would be there for anyone the second they needed her. She was such a beautiful person inside and out, and we all will miss her laugh and contagious smile. She was loved by all of her grandparents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Rachelle was a complete family oriented person and loved them all so very much, especially her daddy. She always wanted to help with any issue and she still continues even while she's gone. I think everyone can agree there will be a permanent hole in this world that will never be filled again. Rachelle please know how much we love you and will continue on everyday trying to live up to your gorgeous spirit. Continue shining down on us and being our ‘Ray of Sunshine’.
