Patricia Ovnicek

April 04, 1925 - November 27, 2014

OVNICEK, Patricia Delores (age 89) Patricia was born in Pocatello, ID on April 4, 1925, to Sidney and Eunice Albano, and passed away in Spokane, WA, on November 27, 2014. She married Bill Ovnicek and moved from Heron, MT, to the Cheney area in 1946, and then to Spokane in 1956 where they resided until their deaths, ending a 62 year marriage. Pat was actively involved in the lives and activities of her 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Most notably she served as President of the Valley Senior Center (now Center Place) for a number of years, seeing to the needs of her many friends and fellow seniors. Pat is survived by her son, Garry (Chris) Ovnicek, of Spokane Valley; son, Larry Ovnicek, of Deer Park; daughter, Bonnie Pilgrim, of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Tina Kienbaum, Troy Ovnicek, Todd Ovnicek, Lisa Willms, Tricia Marshall, Tim Ovnicek, Jeff Bline, Eric Ovnicek, and their respective families. She is preceded in death by her daughter Penny Taylor, of Spokane Valley. A memorial service will be held in the Spring of 2015. Community Cremation & Funeral Spokane Valley 13127 E.
