CASEY, Norma M. Norma passed away Friday, October 12, from injuries suffered in an accident. She was born in Spokane, February 20, 1927, to her parents Alice and Irving Strong. Norma was raised in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School. She married Bernard Casey in 1946 and was the loving mother of three children. Norma spent much of her life in San Jose, California, where she started as a bank teller, eventually working her way to branch manager. She was in the industry for over 30 years and received special recognition and rewards for her accomplishments. Upon retirement, Norma moved to Tum Tum, Washington, where she lived and cared for her father. Upon her father's passing, Norma moved back to Spokane. Norma's many interests and time was spent with friends at Spokane Community Center, and Southside Bible Church. She was active in her church, condominium association, and community outreach programs. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, and antiquing. One of her favorite pastimes was bowling with The 300 Club league. She was a woman of faith and felt her most important calling was her relationship with Jesus Christ, and the love and care of her dear family. She will be missed by sons Bill (Mickey), Rian (Linda), daughter Colleen (Bill), her longtime companion Gabe DeMarco, and her many friends. She was the grandmother of six grandchildren and seven great-grand- children. A memorial service will be held at the South Hill Bible Church, 958 E 29th Ave., Spokane, Thursday, October 18th, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception at the church.
