Merceline "Mercy" Jean (Huntley) Bland Leonard was born on the Rocky Boy Reservation, in a Horsedrawn Buckboard Wagon, in Beaver Creek, Montana, to parents Fred and Lucy (Standing Horse) Huntley. "Mercy" passed away peacefully October 3rd in Hospice, surrounded by family and friends. Mercy was one of thirteen children with eight sisters and four brothers. She often shared fond memories of growing up close to her siblings and close to each one of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son Les (Roz) Bland; her daughters: Carol Perry and Glenda Standing Horse; her sisters: Evelyn "June" Cochran, Mavis (Ted) Weirauch, and Louise (Myron) Peterson; her grandchildren: Annette, Lyle, Angela, Lance, Aaron, Andrew, Timmy, Drew, Carmen, Weston, Misty, Matt, Julie, Stephanie, Robert, Cody and Jay; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Lucy (Standing Horse) Huntley; daughters: Roberta and Dale; son Morrie; sisters: Mildred, Isabelle, Pearl, Lyda, and Jeanette; brothers: Joe, Jimmy, Earl "Manny", and Henry.
