Maureen Rose Matuseski obituary (1950 ~ 2022) “Goodbye Rini” are the saddest words I have ever spoken; I feel so lost. We had a journey from Iowa to Washington that lasted 55 years (so many towns, states, and a few countries). We did everything together. I just never appreciate all the little things you would do (I regret often overlooked). You were my light and happiness, my best friend and life companion, my inspiration in all things. I will miss our walks on the beach, movies together, our time at the cabin, your presence next to me in every car activity and the van adventures. You had the most beautiful and loving heart, a gentle spirit with incomparable tenacity and strength. Maureen was a Special Education Instructional Assistant. She loved her students and they loved her. She was a gifted savant in nutrition and naturopathic prescriptions. She loved all life, birds, flowers, and plants – she had big blue eyes and a bigger smile. She was preceded in passing by her loving mother, father, sister, and brother. She is survived by her husband, daughter, five sisters, a brother and all of the many family issue decedents. We are all aware of the impending fate of all life, but I am inconsolable, my heart is so broken, and my colors all gone. I am stunned by the silent memories of plans and trips never made and now forever past. Yet I will cherish our life together, the laughter, sorrows, hard work and even verbal combat. You will always be the red rose of my every moment, my delicate fairy with broken wings. I can not stop crying; I miss you so much. I love you, Rini – I never said it enough.
