Obituary for Mary May Anderson
Mary was born August 6, 1931 to August and Ida Hamann being the 3rd of 4 children. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved the Lord and relied on Him for strength. She was married to the love of her life, Chuck, for 55 years before his passing. She loved to sew, quilt, crochet, was well known for her canned pickles and cooking Sunday dinners. She passed peacefully surrounded by family. She is survived by her children, Rick, Russ (Jackie), Rawly (Lori) and Shelly (Keith) Fifer, all of Colbert; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, multiple step grandchildren and step great-grand- children; brother, Bob (RoseMary) of Spokane; sister Sylvia (Steve) of Spokane; and numerous nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224. A burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA 99205. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Colbert Chapel, 4922 E. Bernhill Rd., Colbert, WA 99005. Donations can be made to Colbert Chapel.
