Mary Louise Carey

October 01, 1918 - March 18, 2013

Born October 1, 1918, in Grenora, North Dakota, to Henry and Goldie Thoeny, Louise passed away March 18, 2013, in Greenacres, WA. She was the second oldest of eleven children. She graduated from high school in Grenora, and then left North Dakota to work for Jim and Reeva Little in Wheeler, Montana. There she met Ward Carey, who was working at Fort Peck Dam. They married November 1, 1938. Later they settled on a farm south east of Wolf Point, Montana in 1945. They moved to Spokane Valley in 1950, where she lived the rest of her life. She had eight children she loved very much, 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many, many friends. She enjoyed raising goats, chickens, and ducks. As one of Jehovahâ??s Witnesses, she loved telling people about Godâ??s Kingdom and hope of paradise on earth. Psa 37:11, 29; Rev 21:3, 4 Louise is survived by daughters, Margaret (Don) and Susan (Art); sons, Donald (Sharon) and Allen; daughter-in-law, Doris; brother, Philip (Bobbiann), Adrian (Becky), Arthur (Lois) and Marke (Pat); and sister-in-law, Betsy. She is preceded in death by her parents; children, Linda, David, Charles, and Naomi; brothers, Chauncy and Michael; and sisters, Laura Elaine, Eva and Hazel. A celebration of Louiseâ??s life will be held March 30, 2013, at 2:00 PM, at Greenacres Kingdom Hall of Jehovahâ??s Witnesses, 18415 E. Boone, Greenacres, WA.
