Mary Christine Horn

June 08, 1954 - October 29, 2017

Mary Christine Horn, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Mary was born on June 8, 1954 in Spokane, WA. She was one of seven children born to Norman and Mary (Larsen) Weston. In 1976, she married the love of her life and soul mate James Horn. They were married for 17 love filled years before he passed away. Their marriage produced four children, Dave (wife Christine), Jason (wife Kristi), Angela (husband Chris) and Donald. Over the years, Mary ran several day cares, loving and spoiling children. She also enjoyed sewing and creating beautiful porcelain dolls. As a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Mary had a strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus. In addition to her children, Mary leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Jamie, Tyler, Ethan, Gwendolyn, Elsa and Henry. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters. Many loving arms welcome her in heaven, including her husband, James, and her mother, Mary. A service will be held at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 3598 N. Harvard Rd., on November 11, 2017 at 10 am, followed by a graveside service at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S. Pines Rd., at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the American Cancer Society or Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
