Mary Alice Eckley (Tinkey) was born January 19, 1937, to Oakley and Marjorie Tinkey in Flandreau Township, SD. She passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023, in Spokane, WA at 86 years young. Mary is survived by one sister; Linda Hildahl if Newman Lake, WA, two daughters; Diane Smith of Carolina Shores, NC and JoAnn Potter of Spokane, WA, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mary loved to garden and read novels. She had various jobs but her latest was working in food service at Spokane Community College, which she very much enjoyed.
