Louise Veltri Miller

December 02, 1923 - March 07, 2021

Louise was born December 2, 1923 in LaClede, Idaho and passed away on March 7, 2021 in Spokane, Washington. Daughter of Joseph and Theresa Veltri, she was one of Joseph’s 23 children. She was married at 16 to Herbert Adams and moved to Portland, Oregon, where she worked as an usherette in a theatre, then she was promoted to a manager. Louise met many stars such as Gregory Peck, Lucille Ball, Alan Ladd, and many more. She once turned down Roy Rogers for a date because she said” I don’t date cowboys!” (Lucky for Dale Evans). After 23 years she took a secretarial job and returned to Spokane in 1986 to take care of her mother. She retired at the age of 62, she loved cooking and baking. Most of all, she loved her family. Louise was beautiful inside and out and will be dearly missed.
