Lois M. George

GEORGE, Lois Margaret (Age 88) Lois was born on March 3, 1924 in Philipsburg, MT and passed away on October 6, 2012 in Spokane, WA. Lois grew up in Butte, MT and graduated from Butte High School. She went on to the Deaconess School of Nursing in Bozeman, MT and enjoyed a short career as a Registered Nurse. Lois married her high school sweetheart Leonard George and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Gustav O. Gaustad and Ruth Pratt. She is survived by her sister, Anne Nygren; brother, Kenneth Gaustad; four children, Martha Severn (Richard), Leonard George, Charles George (Kim), and Richard George (Ruthie); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kimberly, Hilary, Ross, Adrienne, Andrea, Christopher, Jenny, Sarah, Margaret, Richard, and Andrew; as well as 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in her memory on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.
