Obituary for Lena Isabelle Apodaca
Lena Isabelle Apodaca, 44, the most noble of heart, has peacefully passed away in her Spokane, Washington home on October 20th, 2021.
Born in Los Angeles, California in 1977 to Maria "Crazy" Collins, Lena was a scholar of all things biblical and compassionate. Lena's tenacious spirit led her on myriad wild adventures. She was a woman who never settled for anything less than she deserved, in marriage and in life. She was a lover, a dreamer, and a warm and caring mom. She taught those around her what it is to live kindly and authentically, to reach for the heavens, and never give up hope.
The strength of Lena's spirit is unmatched. We are blessed to have known her. To honor her spirit as she moves on, may we embody what we loved most about her.
She is survived by her daughter Jessah Dream of San Francisco, California; her brother Jesse Velez of Grays Harbor, Washington; and her cuddly black feline companion, Kiki.
