SCHMIDT, Larry A. (age 61) Larry was born on November 16, 1953 in Seattle, Washington, and passed away peacefully on December 14, 2014 to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is survived by his loving wife Jeannie; daughter, Kasey (Collin) Kelley; son, Brian (Dena) Schmidt; three grandchildren, as well as his mother, Winnifred Schmidt; brothers, Lloyd (Cheryl) and Richard (Patricia) Schmidt; and sisters, Gwendlyn (Esau) Dozier, Brigette and Vanessa Schmidt. He participated in many sports while in high school including track and field, football and placed4th in State for wrestling his senior year. After spending many years moving around, Larry settled in Spokane, Washington to marry and raise his family. He enjoyed camping, fishing, tinkering around the house and driving in his 1963 Chevy truck. Larry was a very special person and was always willing to help anyone who asked, even when he wasn't feeling well. He was well respected and loved by his family including his many friends and people that he met or worked with throughout his life. Larry will always be remembered for loving his Lord, his church, his family and his friends. During his life and recent illness, he was inspirational on so many levels.
