Larry Dean Thrasher

February 29, 1936 - September 11, 2014

Beloved husband, father, grandfather & friend, Larry Thrasher, went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ from his home in Chattaroy. Born in Grangeville, Idaho, he moved to Spokane as a child. Growing up in a house on Olympic; he was a proud graduate of Rogers High School, class of â??54. He worked hard all his life and at the time of his death he owned Boilers, Parts and Chemical Services. He is survived by his wife Lola Mae; daughters Rebecka Sando & family of Hayden Lake, ID & Leslie Harrah & family of Valley Center, CA; son Kristopher & family of St. John, WA; and his sister Phyllis Warner of Eugene, OR. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Ralph Esch, Charlie Thrasher, Marie Argentino and twins Veta Bailey & Betty Bryant. He loved his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren; Elizabeth, Kristin, Wesley, Haley, Alex, and Bella. Larry loved life to the fullest enjoying such hobbies as hunting, fishing, boating and cutting wood. He was an active member of the Coeur dâ??Alene Skeet and Trap Club and had a special love for watching the Northwest Christian boys basketball games, where he made some special lifelong friendships. A celebration of Larryâ??s life will be held at First Church of the Nazarene on Country Homes Blvd. Tuesday, Sept 16 at 11:00 am. Inurnment will take place at Fairmount Memorial Park.
