Obituary for John Cody Allen
John Cody Allen 26, of Spokane WA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 8, 2021.
Cody was born on June 3, 1994 to Caroline & Jerrod Allen in Spokane WA. He attended Shadle Park and then graduated from On Track Academy in 2012.
Cody’s interests varied widely from the great outdoors, playing basketball anywhere he could especially if you were a Celtics fan, and grilling in his mom’s backyard. His interests transferred to employment at Ritter’s Nursery, Chili’s and most recently as the Line Cook at the Onion on North Division.
He is survived by his Grandmother Harriett, Mother Caroline (Raul), Father Jerrod (Delynda), Siblings Andy, CJ, Ramanda, Destiny, Toni, and Hope as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends who were considered family. Cody was preceded in death by his Uncle Kenny and Grandparents John, Ronald and his beloved Gramcracker Sandy.
A small Service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park at 1pm on Saturday May 22nd. Afterwards there will be an outdoor Celebration of Life at The Ridgeview Elementary school basketball courts at 4pm.
