Joanne was born on August 2, 1935 in Salt Lake City, UT. She passed away on September 1, 2015 in Spokane. Joanne grew up in the Tri-Cities, graduating from Richland High School. After graduating she moved to Spokane and married her husband Theran Gwynne in 1965. She spent 20 years working with Dr. Damon and Dr. Ellingsen, a brief period with Gonzaga University and five years with Agrium prior to retirement. Joanne often traveled to Arizona for the winter; she loved working in the yard, to Snow Ski in her younger years, being around her family, and golfing with a group of friends in Spokane and Arizona. She was an animal lover, especially cats, and she especially loved her grandkids. Joanne is survived and loved by her sons, Mike (Pam) of Raymond, WA and Dan (Vicki) of Pasco, WA; grandchildren: Dan Jr. and Chad of Spokane, Jennifer of Round Rock, TX, Delene of Olympia, WA, and Whitney of Adna, WA; siblings Harold Cleaver of Santa Cruz, CA and Anita Heilling of Portland, OR; four great-grandchildren and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Erna Cleaver; and her husband, Theran. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley, Spokane. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hospice of Spokane.
