Jerry L Hunt

November 03, 1942 - July 22, 2017

Jerry L. Hunt passed away in Spokane, Washington on July 22, 2017 at 74 years old. He was born on November 3, 1942 in Los Angeles, California to Harold G Hunt and Marjorie May (Chrisman) Hunt. Jerry served in The United States Navy where he received an honorable discharge in 1964. In 1961 Jerry married his high school sweetheart in Gardena, California. They have three children; Sheri (George) Ehrlich of Spokane, Washington, Richard Hunt (Lisa Young) of Arcadia, California, and Dawn (Brian) Nielson of Las Vegas, Nevada. They have five grandchildren; Christopher (Nicole) Ehrlich of Spokane, Washington, Caitlin Nielson, Jacob Hunt-Lynn and Whitney (Randy) Newton, all of Las Vegas, Nevada and Makaila Hunt of Moorpark, California. They have three great grandchildren, with a fourth on the way. Jerrys lifelong passion was fishing. He taught many generations of family members and countless other to fish, whether it was fly fishing, freshwater or saltwater fishing. As long as he had a rod and a reel in his hands, he was catching something! He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Marjorie Hunt. Jerry requested that there not be a memorial service however memorial contributions in Jerrys name may be made to the charity or organization of your choice.
