Jean L Maggard

April 29, 1931 - November 10, 2016

Born April 29, 1931 in Deep Creek, Wa to Charles and Hanna Cunningham and passed away at home on November 10, 2016. Survived by her daughters Carol (Ken) Vierth, Janet (Ken) MacFarlane and Janis (Don) Goings and sons Terry Maggard, all of Spokane, and Gregory (Claire) Maggard of Seattle. Grandchildren James and Josh Fowler, Jared and Brandon Maggard, Sean and Caitie MacFarlane and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Orville (Red) and Ted Cunningham as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Chester E. Maggard, son Robert E. Maggard and grandson Travis MacFarlane. Jean was a life-long resident of the Spokane area and a long-time employee of Washington Trust Bank. She enjoyed gardening, reading and was an ardent bingo player. Special thanks to her friends Ron and Barb and to Hospice of Spokane. No services will be held at her request. An informal gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Spokane or Spokane Valley Eagles Aerie #3433.
