James Robert Tice, age 65, passed away on January 3, 2016 after a 10 year battle with neuroendocrine cancer. He was born in Junction City, KS on March 23, 1950 to Bonnie (Hess) and James Tice. Jim grew up in Topeka, KS before moving to Spokane in 1984 to work as an event director in the auto racing business. He was an animal-lover who enjoyed fishing, reading, swearing, and barbecuing the best ribs outside of Kansas City. - Jim is survived by wife Marsha of Spokane; daughter Jessica Tice of Spokane; mother Bonnie Tice of Topeka, KS; sister Cindy Tice of Topeka, KS; and nephew Scott Lynn of Tribeca, NY. He is preceded in death by his sister, Connie Lynn and father, James Tice. - The family would like to express thanks to friends and family for thoughts and prayers, acknowledge Dr. Kirk Lund, his office staff, and Hospice of Spokane for the care, support, and guidance provided. - There will be no service at his request.
