SMITH, James “Jimmy” It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of James “Jimmy” Randall Smith, age 55. He has returned to be with his Heavenly Father. He passed away peacefully on October 9, 2021 in Spokane, WA. Jimmy was born on April 23, 1966, in Columbia, SC, to Charles and Donna Smith, the youngest of five boys. Jimmy is survived by his wife Shauna (Campbell) Smith, Spokane Valley; son Kirby Smith (20); stepson Hunter Campbell (20); daughters Jayden Smith (16), and Sophia Smith (14); brothers Bobby Smith (Shari) of Chapel Hill, NC, Chuck Smith (Sola), Sanford, NC, Benton Smith (Kim), Sanford, NC, and Carl Smith (Terri) Bonners Ferry, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Donna Smith. Jimmy will be severely missed and remembered for the love he had for his friends and family, the happiness he brought to the room, his incredible infectious laughter and smile, and for being the nicest man they have ever met. Jimmy loved golf, fishing, the outdoors, food, and any type of games. He had recently joined a motorcycle club and was excited to ride. The Smith family extend appreciation for all the love and support. Services will be held on October 30, 2021, 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4014 S Bowdish Rd, Spokane Valley, WA. He will join his mother at Grand View Cemetery in Bonners Ferry, ID at 4:30 pm. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
