Obituary for Jacqueline Emily Maria Stazel
Jacqueline Emily Maria Stazel was born November 22nd, 1935 in Ipswich, England and passed July 18th, 2022, in Spokane Valley, Washington.
Jackie was the fourth born out of five siblings, she was the last one to pass away.
At the age of 17, she met Phil Stazel while he was stationed in England, he was in the U.S.A.F. That same year she traveled to America on the Queen Mary. She married Phil Stazel in the Valley Methodist Church in Spokane, Washington. Jackie became a mother of three boys: Edward Stazel, Michael Stazel (deceased), and Paul Stazel. She divorced Phil in 1970, due to a very abusive and alcoholic relationship, then raised their three boys on her own.

Jackie was a K-Mart retiree. She managed the little food deli, Icees, submarine sandwiches, etc. She moved back to England in 1990 to be with her sister who was having troubles. In 1995, she came back to America, and was a proud member of the Mt. Spokane Church, where she had many friends that loved her.

Jackie is survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Michael Stazel, Mariah Stazel, Paul Stazel, Sean Stazel, Megan, Jenna, Josh, Jamie, Molly, and Jordan, all Stazels.

Jackie was a sweet, loving, caring person, to die from Alzheimer’s is a very cruel way to pass. I personally owe my life to her, she was always there for me no matter what trouble I was in, or financial obligations I had. I will miss her a lot and hope to God she is in a better place. --- Paul R Stazel
