Jacqueline Anne Fuerst

March 14, 1934 - August 08, 2017

Jacqueline was born March 14, 1934 in Lima, Ohio, and passed away August 8, 2017 in Otis Orchards, WA; she was 83 years old. - After graduating from Elida High School in 1952 Anne married Richard H. Fuerst. They met at the Lima Roller Rink where they often competed in different skating events. The couple married in October 1952 in Lima, Ohio and had six children. Anne as she was called by friends and family, kept herself busy raising the couples children and resided in Lima until the family moved to Alaska when Richard went to work for BP Alaska. Anne was a very accomplished seamstress, making many of her childrens clothing as well as a skilled crafter. - Anne and Richard moved to Needles, CA in 1985 after Richard retired from BP Alaska. They lived in Needles until April of 2015, when they moved to Otis Orchards, WA. - Anne is survived by five children, Denise K. Hefner of Kingman, AZ, Steven A. Fuerst of Wapakoneta, OH, Diana L. Kadel (Daniel) of Otis Orchards, WA, Debora F. McLean (Sam) of Yelm, WA, Jacqueline J. Fuerst of Kingman, AZ; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. - Anne was preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents, Willis F. and Dolores J. Stevenson, and daughter, Penny A. Lawson. - Memorial contributions can be made to the Cure Alzheimers Fund at www.curealz.org. No public services are planned.
