Helen Chiyoko Ogo

September 20, 1914 - April 18, 2014

OGO, Helen Chiyo Was born in Seattle, Washington on September 20, 1914 and passed away in Spokane, Washington on April 18, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Yojuno and Haru Yamauna; her brothers Eugene, Ray and Gordon Yamauna; and daughter Julie Ogo. Helen is survived by her husband of 71 years, Sam Ogo; sons Gordon (Mary)Ogo of Salem, OR and Art (Nancy House) Ogo of Spokane; four grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Miyo (Masuo) Akiiyama and Margaret Ueda. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N Government Way, Spokane, on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM, with a reception following at 3:00 PM at the Highland Park United Methodist Church, 611 S. Garfield, Spokane.
