Gordon H Reynolds Jr., born on June 5, 1948 in Seattle, Washington, to the late Edna Reynolds and the late Gordon Reynolds Sr, passed away at age 69 on May 10, 2018 in Spokane, Washington. Gordon served in the Army from 1965 to 1968 in the Vietnam War and he also worked as a letter carrier at U.S. Postal Service until her retired in 2005. Gordon was the loving husband of Gloria Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda (Reynolds) VanBuskirk; grandmothers, Pansy Reynolds and Martha Trodhunter; grandfathers, Earl Reynolds and Walter C. Todhunter; and grandchildren, Brandon Murphy. Gordon is survived by his son, Gordy Reynolds; daughter Jennifer (Reynolds) Remek; stepson, James Murphy; brother, Walter Todd Reynolds; sisters, Althea McKee and Robin Wigaard; grandchildren, Dawna Van Buskirk, John VanBuskirk Jr., Thomas VanBuskirk, Jacob Remek, Samantha Reynolds, Josh Reynolds, Kaitlyn Reynolds, Hailey Reynolds, Hillary Murphy, Katherine Murphy, Thomas Murphy, Claire Murphy, and Nicholas Remek; and great-grandchildren, Harper Ruzanka and Lola VanBuskirk. Gordon had a passion for fishing, along with collecting music from all decades. He was the president of National Association of Letter Carriers. Gordon was a very special person that could strike up a conversation with anyone. He made friends easily and loved, and was loved by his wife of 41 years, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Friends and family members may attend the military honors service on Thursday, May 24 from 11:00 to 11:30 A.M. at WA State Veteran’s Cemetery, Medical Lake, Washington.
