Gloria Edith Joanne Gibson of Liberty Lake, Washington passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the age of 84 after a hard-fought health battle. Gloria was born in Colton, OR on August 19, 1936 to Edith and John Johnson. She was raised with her four brothers and two sisters throughout the state of Oregon. Gloria devoted her adult life to being a homemaker and mother of three, always carpooling and bringing snacks to her kids sporting events. An avid sports fan, Gloria played baseball with the boys growing up, tennis, and bowling and enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariners, Seattle Seahawks, and later in life, rooting on her favorite Nascar drivers. Gloria loved animals and always had dogs and cats around, especially her many beloved Pekingese. Gloria leaves behind daughters Amanda (Marc) Tainio, Shawna (Brian) Morris, a son Wade (Kathy) Gibson, grandchildren Annalisa, Tammara, Hannah, Jessica, Cris, Liam, and Alivia, 3 great-grandchildren, a brother Art Johnson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and family friends.
