Joe passed many years ago and his ashes will reside with his brother. Joe was a welder by trade. His early years he traveled the United States on a motorcycle. He was a free spirit in search of adventure. He would work as a welder in a community, make friends and move on to the next adventure and new friends. Joe created beautiful Art from welded metal as well as pen and ink drawings. He landed in the Tri-Cities where he worked for the Nuclear Plant for many years. Joe eventually returned to Spokane. He had two children and would move mountains for their happiness. He passed before meeting his beautiful grandchildren, he would have been so proud. Joe was loved and has been missed.
The McCarthy family lost three loved ones during Covid, their passing's were not caused by Covid but added to the difficulty for their care and planning memorials for all. Our beloved Joe, (brother, Son, Father, Grandfather) lost in 1997 will be put to rest with his brother Rick.
