Born to Godfried and Lydia Hoffman in Rolston, WA. Fritz was number 6 of 11 children; he attended school in both Rolston and Ritzville. After graduating Fritz worked in Ritzville and later in Oaksdale, WA for the railroad. He was drafted into the Army for the Korean War where he served as a cook. Upon returning home Fritz went to work for Kaiser Aluminum in Mead, WA where he worked for 42 years in the potrooms. Fritz met and married Margaret Bauer whom he dearly loved, vowing never to marry again after her passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Margie, brothers Lenhart, Alvin, and Gary, sisters Deloris, Viola, Rita, Ruth, and Frieda. He is survived by his sons Bob and Rick Bauer, daughter Sherlyn, brother Norman and sister Beverly. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 2 pm.
