Dorothy M. Anderson

October 17, 1928 - May 26, 2014

Passed away on May 26, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society Care Center, Spokane Valley, WA. Dorothy was born in Toledo, Ohio, to Louis and Louise Smith on October 17, 1928. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 29 years, Delbert C. Anderson; her son, Richard MacDonald (Deborah) of Toledo, Ohio; two grandsons, Robert (Norma) and Michael (Kristin) MacDonald; two great-grandsons, Brendan and Owen MacDonald; step-daughter, Laura Demartini of Carlotta, CA; and on step-granddaughter, Krista Demartini. A special thank you to the staff of Good Samaritan for everything you have done to make life enjoyable for Dorothy and Delbert. Thank you Darwin and Diane for being such good and caring friends. Thank you to Melissa, Chris, and Pat from Gentiva Hospice for your devotion and help at this critical juncture in Dorothyâ??s life. Burial to be private. A memorial service will be held in Dorothyâ??s memory on June 2, 2014, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel on the campus of Good Samaritan Society, 17121 E. 8th Ave., Spokane Valley.
