Donna May Brown

May 27, 1946 - December 13, 2015

Donna May Brown passed away peacefully December 13, 2015 surrounded by her loving family in Spokane. She was born in Milwaukee, WI to Marlow and Nola (Camaspos) Smithson. She grew up in Milwaukee WI, and Santa Anna CA. She fell in love with Kermit Brown, a Jar-Head Marine, from Camp Pendleton and they were married in Las Vegas July 25th, 1965. Her occupations were Nurse’s Aide, RX Technician, Office Administrator, and House Wife. Donna had an infinite love for the arts and outdoors. She was an avid reader (devoured books), accomplished painter, master quilter, exceptional baker and chef, explosive kick boxer, hiker, angler, and camper. She also thought of herself as a junior geologist and loved to rock hound with her family. Donna is preceded in death by her mother, father, and Donavon Walden (grandchild). She is survived by her husband, Kermit Brown; her younger sister; Linda (Smithson) Bradshaw; her children: Kermit Brown Jr., Daryl (Brown) Krammerer, and Kevin Brown; her grandchildren: Dominique (Walden) Swanson, Ruth Ensminger, Joseph Garcia III, Ashleigh Taylor, Kermit C. Brown, Alissa (Brown) Akimoff; her great grandchildren: Jayden Swanson, Mahayla Childs, Joshua Kelley, Hazel Akimoff and many nieces and nephews.
