Donald C Bearden

March 30, 1931 - March 12, 2017

Bearden, Donald (Age 85) - On March 12, 2017 Donald C. Bearden passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord, surrounded by his wife and daughters. Don was born March 30, 1931, to Clarence and Grace Bearden in Covington, Kentucky. He grew up in Kentucky and was one of 6 children. In 1951 Don joined the Air Force and was stationed in Washington State where he met his wife of 61 years. Don is survived by his wife JoAnn; two daughters, Tammy Schindler (Doug), and Linda Burns (Dan); five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Dons greatest joy in life was his family. He took every opportunity to spend time and participate in the activities of his daughters as well as their children. He was an avid sports fan as well as participant and when it came to the grandchildren he was there to coach from the sidelines. His strong faith in god and devotion to his wife and family was unwavering. Our hearts ache for the loss of our loved one but knowing he is home with god gives us peace. A memorial will be held in the spring to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice of Spokane would be appreciated. - Community Cremation & Funeral Spokane Valley - 13127 E.
