August 05, 1949 - June 22, 2018
Don (Age 69) was born in Downey, CA., to Phil Davis and Barbara (Bair) Davis on the 5th of August 1949, he passed away June 22, 2018. Don grew up in nearby Anaheim, CA, and loved to play sports. His favorites were Pop Warner Football, and Little League Baseball. In his early 20's Don left California and moved to his permanent home town of Spokane. Here he would spend his days running and growing his Landscaping and Irrigation business, relaxing with friends and family, and cheering on his multiple favorite sports teams. At this time, he met Joy Davis, his true love, his wife, and his rock. Don and Joy were married, and spent 3 decades sharing love, adventures, and memories that will last forever. The greatest gift he received in his life, he would loudly declare, was Joy. It can easily be said, few men liked to have a good time more than Don Davis. Don had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a very good cook. He loved to collect age-old family recipes and made sure that family would continue to hold these recipes in high regard. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, and fishing. Don loved music, more than just loved, he lived for it. His musical tastes ranged from the Big Band, Oldies, Jazz, Blues, Country, Pop, Classic Rock, and everything in between. He could remember a tune and its performer, no matter how little known, with ease. Don loved the sun, the beach, and visiting Thailand. He loved the Thai culture, and the Thai people. If Don Davis could have chosen his last day, it would have surely been with all of the family and people he loved, having a blast with he and Joy, on a beach in Thailand. Don would like to be remembered as a man that loved his country dearly, and had the utmost pride in our flag. Don is survived by his loving wife Joy, his mother Barbara, his sisters; Susan, Randi, Rori, Robie, and Carlye, his sons; Robbie, Rudy, Andrew, and Don Jr., his grandchildren; Ashley, Broadi, Carlie, Ethan, Cassi, and Kiley, and Kylee, and his great-grandchildren, Braxton and Brindle, as well as many beloved extended family members
