JONES, Darrel
Darrel passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Valley Hospital on August 27, 2023. He was born in Chelan, WA on December 27, 1936 to Les and Joyce Jones.
Darrel spent most of his childhood growing up on his grandparents’ farm in St. Lawrence, SD. He attended school in St. Lawrence, SD and then went on to Pillsbury Military Academy in Owatonna, MN, graduating in 1956. After graduation he went into the Army for two years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, two uncles, and an aunt. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Delores; sons Michael (Carol), and Jeffrey (Linda); daughter Cathy (Sonny); and one brother, Todd Konoske (Kelly).
A memorial service will be Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 4521 N Arden Rd, Otis Orchards, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Catholic Charities.
