Lyon, Darlene Ann (Age 80) - - Our mom, grandmother, and aunt, journeyed forward to be with Jesus on December 4th, 2017. She passed away peacefully at Autumn Years in Spokane where she was cared for wonderfully. Darlene attended school in Coeur dAlene, Idaho and raised her family in Coeur dAlene and the Spokane Valley. She was married to Marvin (Bus) Lyon on October 31st, 1954 and they shared 42 years together. She was a homemaker who loved the spring and seeing her flowers bloom. Darlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her son, Jerry Lyon (Kathie), grandchildren, Crystal, Jaime, Jeremy, Justin and great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Aalah, Piper, and Moses and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Bus, her son Gary, her daughter Connie, her brother John Hendry, and her parents, Melvin and Rose Halvorson. A memorial service will be planned for the Spring of the year as that is the time she loved the most. We want to thank all the care givers at Alderwood Manor, Autumn Years, and Horizon Hospice of Spokane, who left their loving touch on mom these last many months. You are all valued and appreciated!
