Obituary for Daniel R Parker-Cole
It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Raymond Parker-Cole announces his passing after a brave struggle with a long illness at age 67. He passed on Friday, December 7, 2018. He spent his final days at Regency at Northpointe rehabilitation facility in Spokane and lost his final battle under the care of the ICU department at Holy Family Hospital. Daniel will lovingly be remembered by his surviving brother and sister-in-law Richard and Judi Hodge of Spokane. He is also survived by his niece Desiree (Dennis) Forster. Daniel will also forever be remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews.
Dan graduated from Shadle Park High School. He was a lover of cats, and an avid music fan. The Beatles were one of his greatest obsessions. He owned every record and book they ever appeared in. He toyed with playing the drums and often jammed with a local garage band group. Throughout a lifetime of suffering a terrible disfiguring disease, he was never known to complain about his lot in life. His soul was pure.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy E. Cole and father Victor G. Cole, of Spokane. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date, at Fairmount Memorial Park.
