Dale Carmine Compogno

April 30, 1951 - April 20, 2015

Dale was born in Spokane, WA on April 30, 1951 to Joseph and Ethel Compogno and passed away on April 20, 2015. He was a graduate of Rogers H.S. and EWU. Dale loved to travel, especially to national parks such as Yosemite and the Rockies. He was an avid photographer and loved capturing photos of hummingbirds. He was a big fan of college basketball and loved to camp on his beautiful property in Pend O’reille. He loved a good fire by the river and watching fireworks on the 4th of July. Dale is survived by his brothers, Mike, Terry and Joe; sister Marlene; nephews Michael and Brian; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Terry, Jr. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley Ave. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the National Park Foundation.
