Obituary for Cyril Duane Vinneau
Cyril "Cy" (Age 84) passed into the hands of the Lord on May 30, 2017 in Spokane, WA. He was born, also in Spokane on June 5, 1932 to Cyril F. and Edythe Vinneau. He graduated from North Central High School in 1951. Cyril went on to join the Navy, serving 4 years as a disbursing officer. He married his wife of nearly 48 years, Evadene Good, on July 26, 1969 in Coeur d Alene, ID, they resided in Spokane, enjoying their north side home. Cyril retired from McKesson Drug as a warehouseman after 34 years of service. Cyril was a man of faith and was a member of St. Thomas Moore Parrish. He has many stories to tell of his bowling and golf years, and loved to recite poems, limericks and sing songs, even up to his last days. He and Evadene loved to travel and made many wonderful memories. Cyril is survived by his wife at home, Evadene, son Bryan (Shannon) of Deer Park, brother Gary (Carlin) Sun City, AZ, 3 grandchildren; Randy (Marissa) Los Angeles, CA, Kyle (Ashley) of Deer Park, and Chloe Vinneau also of Deer Park, along with many nieces and nephews. With the birth of Kyle and Ashlys son, Henry, Cyril was so proud to have his great-grandson be the 4th generation of Vinneaus! he is preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters; Kathleen Matthew and Marion Koontz. At his request, there will be no services held. There will be a private family inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank DaVita North Spokane Renal Center, Royal Park Health and Rehab, and Hospice House of Spokane on the north side for their compassionate care. Cyril will be remembered as a soft spoken, kind man. Rest in Peace Cy.
