Carolyn Anna Dixon

January 11, 1943 - October 16, 2015

Carolyn passed peacefully October 16, 2015 at Providence Holy Family Hospital. She was born in Spokane, WA, January 11, 1943 to Howard and Hilda (Strom) Miller. Carolyn graduated in 1961 from John Rogers High School. She married Clarence D Dixon, of Spokane, WA on May 29, 1965. Carolyn worked as an employee of the Spokane School District and as a pharmacy technician. Her interests included family, gardening, shopping and reading. She was an avid pet lover and enjoyed caring for her beloved dogs and cats. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Clarence; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Mark, Mike, Steve and Laura; five grandchildren, Marisa, Matthew, Joseph, Andrew and Sarah. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry and Charlie; and her sister Anita. Special thanks for the wonderful support received by Jerry and Chip Foster of RAIN ministries. A memorial celebrating her life will be held Saturday, November 21 at 11:00am at the Canaan Buffet, 9606 N Newport Hwy, Spokane, WA 99218.
