Obituary for Carol Coburn
Carol Darlene Coburn, Age 73, of Spokane Valley Washington passed peacefully after on-going health issues on May 3, 2018 at Valley General Hospital shortly after prayer with her family.
Carol was born May 1, 1945 in Walker Minnesota to Carl and Anna (Johnson) Swenson. Carol married the love of her life, George Edward Coburn November 30, 1963. Carol & George loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, golfing and an occasional casino trip, she was a very talented painter using oils and acrylics to create beautiful pictures of animals and landscape. She and George raised their three boys in the Spokane Valley, George “Scott” Coburn, Kevin Edward Coburn, and Jeffrey Lane Coburn. Carol is preceded in death by her parents; her husband George of 45 years, her sons Scott & Kevin Coburn, as well as her brother Steve Swenson, sister Diane Zibin, and sister Bonnie Gunderson.
Carol leaves behind her son Jeffrey Coburn (Kim Coburn); (Michelle Coburn); her grandchildren Corey, Shaylin (Steve), Brenna (Jeremy), Cassie, Kaylee, Troy (Leah), Jake, Josh and her great-grandchildren Lawson, Landry, Alice & Ekko. As well as her sisters Mitzi (Glenn) Ray and Sherry Ray and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place on May 26, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Center Place in the Fireside Lounge 2426 N Discovery Place, Spokane Valley, WA 99216.
