MILLER, Bonnie L. (Age 72)

Bonnie of Spokane, Washington, died peacefully on January 31, 2017, at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane. Bonnie was born on March 24, 1944 in Spokane to Roy & Regina Dahlberg. She has joined her late husband of 50 years, Donald Miller, in heaven. Bonnie worked at Willard Elementary for 35 years as an Assistant Secretary. She impacted many lives while there and made numerous long lasting friendships. Aside from work, Bonnie enjoyed many leisure activities including: gardening, swimming, quilting, knitting, and scrapbooking, but truly enjoyed the time she spent surrounded by her family and loving granddaughters. Her family was her pride and joy and she loved them to pieces. Bonnie is survived by her two children, Abigail Cooper (John) and Andrew Miller; granddaughters, Amanda Arnold (Ryan), and Lexi Cooper; sisters, Marilyn Olson and Carolyn O'Brien along with numerous nieces and nephews who she all loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Clifford & Lester Johnson; Kermith & Richard Dahlberg; sisters; Betty Greer, Dorothy Morgan, and Shirley McGee. Survivors also include Bonnie's fur babies: Sophie & Matty. A Celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at Salem Lutheran Church, 1428 W. Broadway Ave, Spokane, WA 99201, on Saturday, February 11th at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Willard Elementary Library fund to help buy books for the children or Sally's House at the Salvation Army. Bonnie will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
