Betty (Age 93) passed away March 31, 2018. She was born in Seymour, IA on November 7, 1924, to George Earl and Cora Osborn. Upon graduating from high school, where she played the sport she loved, basketball, she moved to Des Moines to work. She met and married Clair, upon his return from the Navy. They married on December 10, 1945. They moved to Washington State and settles in Seattle for a few years, then moved to Iowa for a year or so, and finally returned to Spokane in early 1951 where they raised their family. She worked for Spokane School District for many years as a reading specialist/paraeducator. She loved basketball and never missed watching the Zags. Betty and Clair had 7 children: 5 girls and 2 boys, 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Clair, 2 daughters; Judith and Pamela, 2 grandsons, and 2 granddaughters. She is survived by her daughters; Linda, Kathy, and Jennifer (Jeff), sons; Mike (Kathy), and Steven, sons-in-law Gary and Lynn, and the aforementioned grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
