Betty Camp was born in Woodstock, IL. She married Ralph Lippold and had two sons, Bob and Jim. She divorced in 1968 and, at age 80, made a courageous move to Spokane, WA, where son Jim lived. She loved regular visits to the casino, enjoyed food of all kinds and especially ice cream. She held tightly to a life-long cigarette habit. Her connection to the Presbyterian Church was central to her life. She was a sweet, bright, vivacious, and engaging woman who easily made friends everywhere she went. She lived life on her own terms as a strong, independent woman. She is survived by sons, Bob grand-daughter, Jennifer Harron; and nieces, Peggie Schmidt and Bonnie ONeill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bessie (Watt) Camp; and sister, Joann ONeill. Hospice of Spokane was very helpful to her during the last few months of her life. Final arrangements made by Pacific Northwest Cremation. Betty chose no service; rather to be remembered as the happy, kind-hearted woman she was in life.
