Basil Chris Dement

December 22, 1928 - July 31, 2013

DEMENT, Basil C. (Age 84) Our sweet papa Basil, passed at home with family. Loving Grandpa and friend to all. American soldier with steel boots. Lover of life, teacher of love, kindness and compassion. Very loved and in our hearts forever. Thank you to all friends and family who supported and cared for him; Spokane Club, Rotary 21, Dr. William Roth, Camille, VNA, Romona Mathers. And special thanks to the Ward family, nurse Alice Schlosser and Amanda Collins, Gary, Danielle and Nat, who loved him dearly. I feel honored for the time we had together. Forever grateful, Holly. Basil is laid to rest at the Washington Vets Cemetary, Medical Lake, WA.
