Obituary for Arthur Julian Overland
Arthur Julian Overland, 87, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017, in Spokane, Washington. Art was born in Saco, Montana to John and Alma Overland as their youngest child. Raised and educated in Spokane, Art joined the Air Force in 1951 and served during the Korean Conflict. During that time, Art met and married Carmen and together they raised three sons. Art loved having his grandchildren around him and also liked spending time with his dogs, horse racing, and visiting Lincoln City whenever he could. Art was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Art was loved very much and will be missed a great deal. He is survived by wife Carmen and sons Mark and Chris (Paula); grandchildren John, Jeff, Nicholas, Rachel, Amanda, Stephanie and Alysha. Art was preceded in death by his parents, sister Alice, brothers Palmer & Lee, and son Ray (Barb). A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the many care providers who helped look after Art.
