Alice Marie (Treiber) Hartford (Age 86) was born in Hebron, ND on Jamuary 20, 1931 and went to be with Lord on September 27, 2017. In 1949, Alice graduated from Hebron High School and the next year she taught in a rural school near Hebron, ND. She later went to work in the finance department of the Montgomery Ward store in Dickenson, ND. Eventually she was transferred to the Montgomery Ward store in Spokane, WA. In 1957, she graduated from Kinman Business University as an accountant. Alice then worked for the City of Spokane in the financial department from 1973-1993. She is survived by her sister; Violet Margaret Olson, her son; Vernon Alan Hartford II, her daughter; Christine Clarissa Hartford, and her granddaughter; Alicia Anne Kinkade-Hartford. She is preceded in death by her father; George Jacob Treiber, mother; Christina Magdalena Maas, brother; Ervin William Treiber, and sister; Dorothy Emma Gienger. She was a long-time, faithful member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. A Graveside Inurnment will take place at Fairmount Memorial Park, at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 9th, with a Memorial Service following at 11:00 AM at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 2733 N. Northwest Blvd. Alice requested that memorial contributions be given to go to Pilgrim's Mortgage Fund.
